After "Ondoy"

On 26 September 2009, heavy rains from tropical storm “Ondoy” (international code name “Ketssana”) flooded 80% of Metro Manila. Over a 24 hours span the storm dumped 455 millimetres in Quezon City - nearly 2x more than hurricane Katrina’s rains over New Orleans. Nearly one month after the deluge many communities such as this in Taytay, Rizal, Marikina and other areas still remained under water.
